I now have the latest RTM drivers (I'm running the RTM 圆4 build of Vista) but I get the same result. My specs are a bit different from Johnathonm's I have a:Īt first I though perhaps the reason for the corruption which renders the game quite unplayable was due to Nvidia's beta drivers. The game loads but there is heavy on screen corruption.

This is the only game in which I've had this I have tried setting the app to run in compatibility mode (xp > launch the game I get the error "This application has failed to start > I'm trying to run Medieval 2 total war on my Vista 64 box. Doesn't vista contain Direct X 10? I thought this would supply DXįunctionality.
